Questions about the deadlines

The answers are based on the sources listed below.

Which e-invoicing period am I in?

It depends on your gross revenue for tax year 2023. Above €1,000,000: mandatory since 2 March 2026. Up to €1,000,000: from 2 November 2026, phased in until 31 January 2027.1

Can I keep sending invoices to myDATA from my ERP?

Until 31 January 2027, in parallel. From 1 February 2027, B2B, non-EU and public-sector invoices are issued and reported only through a provider or AADE’s timologio and myDATAapp. Your ERP keeps working, connected to a provider.1

What changes for transport documents on 1 January 2027?

Loading, transfers, receipt and quantity checks become mandatory. Paper is not accepted: whoever carries the goods files the start of transport and whoever receives them confirms the receipt, by hand in myDATAapp or automatically with an app such as ABOVE TRANS. TARIC item codes follow on 1 January 2028.1

How do I know if the digital work card applies to me?

From your main activity code in TAXIS. In 2026, telecoms and IT joined, with penalties from 12 October 2026, and storage, consulting, office services and repairs, with penalties from 16 November 2026.5

Do the dates change often?

Yes. Phase B of transport documents was announced for 1 October 2025, moved to 1 May 2026, then to 12 October 2026 and finally to 1 January 2027. That is why every date here has a source, and we check it again whenever a new decision is published.4
