What makes manufacturing hard

The line does not wait for accounts, or for the technician.

Today

  • A missing material shows up when the machine stops.
  • Batch cost is worked out in Excel, months later.
  • Shifts are logged on paper and typed in by hand.
  • A server going down stops production too.

With ABOVE

  • The production order reserves materials and shows what is short.
  • Cost per batch is visible in the ERP.
  • The work card reaches ERGANI II and payroll.
  • One team looks after ERP, server and network.

Frequently asked questions

Since when does the digital work card apply to industry?

Since 1 January 2024, for a main activity code in manufacturing (10–33, except 19). Every shift’s start and end must reach ERGANI II within 15 minutes. See the digital work card.

Does the NIS2 cybersecurity directive apply to us?

Possibly. It mainly covers medium and large businesses in certain sectors, such as food, machinery and electronics production. We check together whether you are in scope and what your network and backup need.

Can we bring production into the ERP step by step?

Yes. We often start with warehouse, sales and accounting, and add production in a second phase, once the team is used to the system.

We want the ERP on our own server. Is that possible?

Yes. SOFT1 ERP also runs on your server, with a purchased licence or an annual subscription (ASK). We set up and look after the server. See which model suits you.
